To
insure that Oneness makes a real and lasting impact in fostering
a unified America, experts in fields ranging from academia, civil
rights, private industry, politics and the arts were consulted.
The outcome was a strategic plan based on:
Awareness
campaigns designed to promote the elimination of racism
and the establishment of racial unity using both mass media
and grass-roots initiatives. An important part of the awareness
initiative is also the creation of a Oneness
compilation CD. By drawing on the diverse musical styles
of Oneness
supporters, our CD will embody the concept of racial unity
and help promote a much-needed national dialogue on the
issue of race in America.
Educational
initiatives that will enable individuals to better understand
other cultures as well as themselves. An important part
of our educational efforts is based on work done by Dr.
Joy Leary. Her groundbreaking work in the area of culture
gives Oneness
a firm foundation from which we both build programs and
help in the healing of our nation from the injuries of racism.
Oneness
is has also developed workshops, conferences, lectures,
educational materials and curriculum resources.
Supporting, co-sponsoring
and networking with like-minded individuals and organizations
to promote the message of racial unity. Our partnerships
range from the sharing of resources and information to providing
